Adding more concepts

Alasdair needs somewhere to be live ofc. We'll make The Crown, a city and a major trade centre in the shattered realms. It starts the same way as his concept: create a concept, give it a type, and add what we know.

Creating a second concept

Back to the sidebar, press the "+" icon when you hover over concepts, choose Create Concept and name it The Crown. Write a short description of the city in its document. For your own visual help, Writality automatically assigns a new colour to each concept, but you're also free to update these as you create them.

In the "The Crown's sidebar's Type control, choose or create City. For locations that are larger, I like to create a Region type. You can drag the type on the Primary sidebar into another type to create a hierarchy. Later you can assign these to your map.

Start with enough to write

I tend to not flesh out all my concepts, some just have a single line or two. But placing them in the world and being able to reference them in various places already helps a lot for later expanding upon them.

For now, we have Alasdair and the city we'll meet him in.

Next, let's connect Alasdair to The Crown through a relationship, recording where he lives.
