Creativity must be free.

My philosophy around Writality being paid is still the same: writing, world building, map-making, and storytelling in general should be available to everyone. It is hard enough to write, you know?

Generally speaking, I believe the pursuit of creativity (creation itself) should be free. Making the core parts of Writality paid would mean gatekeeping writing, and I do not want to do that. Telling stories matters. Wherever you are in the world, you should be able to write, build your world, and share it.

So Writality is free for the people who cannot, or simply do not want to, pay for writing software. No feature lock. No maps behind a tier. Just the app.

There may be paid extras later. I would like to introduce writing groups and similar things. Those would need a server to run. I am happy to cover most of the development costs, but paying for that infrastructure would blow through my budget. The core will always be free though. And even then, the cost would sit with the writing group owner, not the individual writer.
