Writality v1.7.8
Improvements
- Outlining improvements
- Made the outline feature available by default in the main sidebar.
- Added freeform positioning to the outline. You can now drag and position items however you like instead of being tied to the folder structure.
- You can now update relationships directly in the segment graph instead of only opening a concept or removing a relationship.
- Concepts and folders now show their colours in the outline.
- Added a select tool so you can select and move multiple nodes at once.
- Added the ability to navigate to segments from their right-click menu.
- Added reference images to segments. These can be found in the segment sidebar. Images added through the editor also appear in this list and are reflected in the outline.
- Relationships in the concept sidebar now show the concept type colour, as do references.
- Improved the tab design. Split tabs should now be much easier to navigate and work with.
- Added tab sorting. You can now arrange your tabs in any order.
- Added a delay to the drawer when using Zen Mode.
- Added "time since last update" to concept and segment previews.
- Added more space between the drag handle and text in the editor.
- Added segment relationships to the concept graph on the concept page.
- Improved Typewriter Mode:
- Scrolling now happens when you start typing instead of when you move your cursor.
- Added a smoother easing animation and delay.
- Added the ability to rename maps.
- For list items on the sidebar, now the tags are a lot smaller. Should allow more space for tags. On hover you can see the tag name.
- Added option to remove type easily from the concept sidebar type selector.
- Improved project overview
- You can now add colours to projects.
- You can archive and restore projects. The archive shelf is always available and can collapse down to its resize handle.
- Projects now appear in a library bookcase. Adjust their sizes, tilt and design.
- You can arrange your library in any order in book view.
Bug fixes
- Fixed issue where linked concepts sometimes did not count as words. This should now work correctly. You may notice that opening pages containing linked entities adds a few words to your count.
- Fixed issue where concepts displayed relationships that did not exist when they also had segment relationships.
- Fixed issue where very long project names caused overflow problems.
- Fixed issue where unlinking a linked concept would unlink the first occurrence instead of the selected one. Unlinking now also preserves inline formatting.
- Fixed issue where cutting and pasting a paragraph could detach its note. Copied paragraphs no longer inherit the original paragraph's note.
- Fixed issue where editor error could make the entire app unusable.
- Fixed issue where hover was not working for laptops with touch screen.
