Writality v1.8.2
Features
- Added colours to concepts. You can now change the colour of a specific concept.
- This will make that concept have a gradient from its type to its colour.
- Added concept dialogs.
- You can now attach dialog to concepts. These pieces of dialog will take the colour of the concept.
- To assign a concept to a piece of dialog you must have highlight dialog toggled.
- Ctrl/Cmd-click dialogue, or press Ctrl/CmdK while focused on dialogue, to assign a concept.
- Mentioned and related concepts appear as quick picks. You can also search all project concepts or create a new concept.
- Added services:
- Services analyze saved local project data when needed to help you understand your world.
- Basically an added layer to make writality a bit smarter.
- Segment overlap highlights concepts mentioned together in at least two different saved segments, so you can choose whether to connect them.
- Dialogue intelligence shows saved conversation evidence and suggests a connection when speakers repeatedly alternate. You choose whether to create a relationship.
- The relationship graph has changed. Now there is a separate layer separating relationships and mentions/service recommendations.
Improvements
- You can now pick a colour from anywhere on screen, including other apps.
- Improved sidebar design a bit.
- You can now update the project name straight from the sidebar.
- Improved themes and appearance settings.
- You can now choose System, Light, or Dark mode from Settings or the theme menu in the top bar. System mode follows your device's appearance automatically.
- Light and dark modes remember their own theme choices, including custom themes.
- Theme changes save more reliably, and switching projects no longer briefly applies the wrong appearance.
- Simplified the template story and made it up to date.
Bug fixes
- Fixed issue where you could not horizontally scroll on kanban board with a mouse.
- Fixed windows button placements.
- Fixed issue where decorations were overflowing.
