Features

Outlining feature: This feature introduces quite a few changes in how various core concepts interact.

Folders have been extended to also act as outlining for segments within. The folder page has been redesigned for this.
Notes have been extended to now be able to act as storybeats with ability to "complete" them.
Segments can now have relationships with other segments or with concepts. So you can map relationships like: POV -> Character 1 or seen in -> Segment 2 etc
Segments can now have dates (more on that in the chronology section below)
Added an interacted canvas for shaping and outlining your story. This can be seen in the folder page and the new outlining page.

Chronology rework: With segments now being part of the chronology, the page had to be redesigned to allow for easy understanding and use.

Dates have been extended so now you can have 1 date for multiple concepts and/or segments
Chronology page is redesigned so each era is shown clearly and their colours show more vibrantly
Segments with dates now show on the chronology

Added folder icon update on the sidebar so you can update the folder icon easily.
Added colour to folder. You can now colour a folder which will colour the segments within.
Pasted images not part of project images now show an indicator. You can choose to make this pasted image into a project image.
Added a download option to the gallery image viewer so images can be downloaded
Renamed dashboard to study and changed the icon
Renamed maps to cartography and changed the icon
Reenamed all projects to library
Changed chronology icon
Added era toggle for whether or not eras should start at year 1 or continue counting.
Added background images to share snippets. You can now add and style images like you do background images in the share snippet.
Custom colour selection now updates in real time when changing colours. Removed the apply colour button
Added option to hide sections in the concept and segment sidebar. This button can be found on the bottom of the sidebars
Added font dropdown to the bubble menu and fixed toolbar. So you can change the font of selected text.
Added positioning for the fixed toolbar. You can have it floating at the bottom or the top
Added an option in Workspace Location settings to rename the workspace folder safely.

Fixed issue where when updating tags or concept icons from the sidebar it was also navigating to the selected segment or concept.
Fixed range sliders so editor background image opacity and other live-preview sliders save the final dragged value.
Fixed issue where in certain places backwards eras would show as negative dates
Fixed calendar weekdays resetting at the start of each month in backwards eras when monthly weekday resets were disabled.
Fixed issue where external links were causing settings to shrink
Fixed Linux launchers opening a second app instance while Writality was hidden in the system tray.
Fixed Flatpak windows showing a generic gear icon instead of the Writality app icon.
Fixed concept pins on maps ignoring concept-specific icons; pins now use the concept icon before falling back to the type icon.
Fixed an intermittent issue where minimizing notes in quick succession could clear newly entered content. Pending note edits are now saved immediately when minimized and protected from stale background refreshes.
Fixed issue where windows controls were not fully flushed against the edges.
Fixed concept and segment hover previews showing an old concept name after a mentioned concept was renamed.
Fixed issue where h1 inside segments were not being styled in the manuscript formatting
